Day Trip vs Hourly Chauffeur
Our Chauffeur Standard
Every UmrahTransit driver operates to the same verified standard — licensed, route-experienced, and accountable to you by name before your trip begins.
Licensed Professionals
Every chauffeur drives a TGA-licensed commercial vehicle with official Saudi permits (Tasreeh) — legally cleared for Makkah checkpoints and pilgrim transport.
Route Specialists
Drivers work these exact routes daily: Haram-area access rules, hotel drop-off points, Miqat stops, and checkpoint procedures during peak seasons.
Multilingual Service
English- and Arabic-speaking drivers, with Urdu widely available. Request a language preference when booking and we assign accordingly.
Flight-Tracked Pickups
For airport pickups your driver's arrival is adjusted to your actual landing time, with waiting time included — delays never cancel your booking.
Water on Every Ride
Complimentary bottled water in every vehicle, on every trip — a standard, not an upgrade.
Details Before You Travel
Before pickup you receive the driver's name, photo, phone number, and vehicle plate via WhatsApp — you always know exactly who is meeting you.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Is a Private Day Trip Driver in Saudi Arabia?
A private day trip driver is a dedicated chauffeur booked for a fixed duration — typically 6, 12, or 24 hours — who stays exclusively with you throughout. Unlike a taxi or ride-hailing service, the driver does not go elsewhere between your stops. Your vehicle waits while you worship, shop, tour, or attend meetings. When you are ready to move, your driver is there.
In Saudi Arabia, where major destinations like Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, and Taif each require sustained on-the-ground navigation, a day trip driver converts an exhausting multi-taxi day into a seamless, private experience. One booking. One driver. One price.
Why Fixed-Package Pricing Matters
Saudi Arabia's transport market is dominated by app-based taxis that surge in price during peak prayer times, pilgrimage seasons, and high-traffic events. A day trip package locks your price at booking. Whether you make 3 stops or 12, whether traffic is light or jammed around the Haram, your price does not change.
For Umrah pilgrims in particular, this predictability is critical. Ziyarat tours in Makkah can run 6–10 hours. Coordination between Rawdah slots and city visits in Madinah requires a vehicle that waits. Airport layovers in Jeddah benefit from a driver who times the return precisely. In all these situations, a fixed-package day trip driver outperforms metered alternatives both in cost and in peace of mind.
Multi-Day Hire: The Smartest Option for Extended Stays
Many Umrah pilgrims stay in Saudi Arabia for 10–21 days, split between Makkah and Madinah. Booking a dedicated driver for the full duration eliminates daily transport logistics. Our multi-day pricing uses the 24-hour daily rate with automatic volume discounts: 10% off from 7 days, 15% off from 14 days, and 20% off from 21 days. For a 14-day Umrah stay with a Hyundai Staria, the effective rate drops to SAR 1,785/day — less than many individual city taxis charge for a single Ziyarat tour.
Which Cities Do We Cover?
We offer day trips in four cities: Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, and Taif. Each city has dedicated pricing and itinerary guidance. Jeddah carries a 10% premium for its business-city market. Taif is priced 5% below base for its leisure-travel focus.
Vehicle Fleet
Day trips use our premium-only fleet. Standard economy vehicles are not available for this service. The six models are: GMC Yukon XL (7 passengers), Hyundai Staria (9 passengers),Chevrolet Suburban (7 passengers), Lexus ES 350 (4 passengers),Toyota Hiace Grand Cabin (12 passengers), and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter VIP Van (12 passengers). All vehicles are 2023–2026 models.
