City Guide

Makkah Al-Mukarramah

The heart of the Islamic world. A city where history breathes in every corner, from the ancient Kaaba to the mountains of revelation.

Plan Your Arrival

1. The Spiritual Center

Makkah is the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the site of the first revelation of the Quran. At its center stands the **Kaaba**, the house of Allah built by Prophet Ibrahim and Ismail.

Millions circle the Kaaba daily in Tawaf, symbolizing the unity of believers worshiping one God. The city is a sanctuary (Haram) where no violence is permitted, and even trees cannot be cut.

2. Historical Sites (Ziyarat)

Jabal Al-Noor

The Mountain of Light. Hike to the Cave of Hira, where the first verses of the Quran were revealed.

Jabal Thawr

The cave where the Prophet (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA) hid from the Quraish during the Hijrah migration.

Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah

The holy sites of Hajj. Visit the Mount of Mercy (Jabal Ar-Rahmah) in Arafat at any time of year.

Birthplace of the Prophet

Located near Marwah, now a library (Maktabah Makkah). A site of immense historical significance.
